So far so good.
Vista has almost all drivers for my laptop besides 2:

nvidia go 7900gs driver (can use aero but buggy in 3D games)
sigmatel HD Audio codec driver

everything else works flawlessly.

On boot, vista takes around 35% out of 2GB physical memory.

but laptop you\'ll carry it around and show off.

my last desktop uses all the simplest theme. but I use pretty them in my laptop.

我想問dell除左xps之外會有咩機會有7900 ar??

~700MB ram at idle.......
WinXP都係~250MB

these kinds of comparison is useless.

how about compare xp with 98? 98 with 3.1?

At windows xp just released people also bitch about the memory usage la..but now?

mine is not XPS.
it\'s just an Inspiron E1705/9400

Besides XPS M1710, only E1705/9400 has 7900GS, while M1710 has 7950GTX option.
