Intel Q4 2009 revenue: +28% QoQ
AMD Q4 2009 revenue: +18% QoQ
(CPU + chipset: +14% QoQ)
(GPU: +40% QoQ)

如果NVIDIA都post +20%以上的revenue, 咁係AMD落後於人

當然, market share計又唔同講法, 因為Intel的ASP升左唔少

basically, NV sell one fermi will loss $$$

you can only pray/wish fermi II on 28nm
from tape out to market in less than 9 months time.

Fermi don\'t have Mid-range product ( > $ 100 USD ~ < $200 USD )
that\'s where the company sell most + make profit from

nVIDIA can\'t rename G92 again and again to "sell" as new ( it does work well with 9800GTX+ => GTS250 , many ppl did bought GTS250 think it\'s new GT200 family GPU

I don\'t like the part that AMD increase the MSRP price after release HD5850/5870 family .....
HD5850 original priced at $ 2000 HKD
and now they did went up to $ 23xx .......due to increase MSRP from AMD

I prefer competition between both nV & ATI (AMD), so that customer get the best deal (high C/P card

)

If you notice it\'s happening with CPU too, Intel won\'t lower the Core i7 price for a long time
as there aren\'t anything "competitive" to fight (from AMD)

I know fermi only for highest rank.
Even if the GPU really make it out to the market,
it may still take 6-9 months to trim down to mid-range.

ATI only need to double it up.

G92 40nm sell well may not repeat again to compete with
Everygreen mid-range and probably need to compete with
next generation/R9xx ? in the fall/winter 2010. hohoho

at the glory days of NV
it won\'t cut the selling price.

in the misery date of hyper-thread P4,
intel compete with price until core2-era come.

any kind of business will only make its profit to the max, period.

you don\'t like Li Ka Shing , don\'t buy from park\'n shop

you don\'t like intel , don\'t buy from its cpu

you don\'t like ATI , don\'t have no new graphic card from 2012
