Microsoft is working on 128 bit Windows now. Seems Itanium will become dinosaur very soon.

The hardware and software\'s price/performance of Xeon is too good when compare to Itanium. On the other hand, Operton\'s C/P is also good when compare to Xeon. Itanium was sacrify during the server CPU war.

Intel / HP想離開x86 market失敗

不過Itanium係有野好既, build-ECC係Xeon / Opteron做唔到既
