requirement:
1) budget: $400-1k
2) can support many connections
3) stable
4) have wireless N mode
5) USB port for USB flash storage (optional)
6) VPN server (optional)

DD-WRT is.... install thrid-party firmware? so warranty void if there is any problem?

3rd party.

But some of them can flash back to original firmware if you would like to take to warranty.
Better check if it is able to flash back to original firmware before you flash it with DD-WRT.

using under latest firmware 1.74... not stable

now, going back to 1.72

July... will have official DD-WRT firmware
