Today I have just replaced a WZR-HP-G300NH which was somehow bricked upon rolling back of dd-wrt to stock(rolling back due to poor NAT(BT < 1MB/s....., I tried dd-wrt as the Wifi of stock sometimes auto disconnect and UPnP often fail)
it could be my fault but I have done this many times so I have no idea why it sucked.
Tried to TFTP but have never succeed transferring so I can only return it.
So strange, the mechanism of this router should make it un-brickalbe.........

Nice one, received a new router, but on the first day after 6 hours of operation, it hanged and I have to reboot just now.........
What the hell.
Don't buy Buffalo.

Are you using stock firmware or dd-wrt?
If you are using stock, is there a built in ftp server function?

DDWRT
stock firmware 有 ftp server

sasdly with dd-wrt on WZR,
I have tried over 5 built,
non have them can have a stable WAN to LAN throughput for > 1MB/s stably.........
And if I BT, I can't even browse.

我試過5粒seed一齊B over 1MB/s 都browse到 (雖然唔算好重loading)
似乎系 Buffalo 個設計有問題

Not really, with stock firmware, I can BT over air with speed > 10MB/s........
but with dd-wrt, not even 1MB/s.
While the stock firmware is not quite stable, port forwarding/UPnP sometimes fail that in utorrent I see a red light, some times wireless can't connect and I need to restart,
and it doesn't have a ftp server.......

It has a function similar to that called Web Access,
but the GUI is quite slow and uploading sometimes fail........I prefer a simple FTP function like in dd-wrt.

甘同1043 差不多
不過我番黎已flash DD-WRT，同自己用緊只NAS
所以無試stock firmware

Now switched to Openwrt, trying to see if it is better.
At least just tested its NAT, 11MB/s throughput wired

successfully installed SamBa + Transmission, now brainless BT is ok even on private tracker, nice
