撇除 "人嘅問題"

因HKBN 8 月到期， sales 係咁打黎續約
$180 BB100 + Home Phone + outdoor wifi

問題係，黎緊會成日連去年英國同澳洲 data streaming and Skype
轉PCCW 會唔會好啲？

my experience

个packet loss/jitter 好大
2013 experience, 个客call france H.O.
幾分鍾 cut 1 次call

But
唔代表 residential broadband 差
1. customer base 大 , hot/recent subject 多人BT
2. 大把人 (e.g.dom) 話 netvigator 玩game 差 / 斷線

thus, it all depend how bad experience you have with BN now
and whether you can still endure or not

For Aussie connection
I used to play BF3 in Aus server and only PKKW give decent ping and quality
HkBn is depend on IP group

And I tested with some download file too

I use both pkkew n hkbn
They are not much different
Except BT Pkkw is good for not blocking speed

so, I said I won't recommend people to use business HKBN
no comments on residential service because sometimes, I will power off
fibre modem/router while sleeping

for game server, which many people play,
HKBN should play more attention / assign enough bandwith
or else will have many complaints/contract terminated

that's reason I ask #1 to try

其實最concern 係 hkg－aus voip capability.
所以可能真係要overlap 一個月黎試吓先知

before, my company has an ip-pbx
and get a free to try

if you really want to terminate HKBN
better try our service provider

now seems that the monthly fee is higher than
couple of years before

hkbn commercial is fast, but had 3 times no signal (for over 1 hr each time) within 4 months
i think pccw is more stable

Yes, so may have to try to use PCCW and HKBN at the same time for a month and see how that goes

都係貴 PCCW 8M 唔夠 $100 一樣 1粒 true IP

2 years ago cheaper than PCCW

optical fibre

after HKBN sold/changed hand
no more that cheap

it's company decision. PCCW is more expensive

hkbn 100Mb vs PCCW 30Mb (higher price) + installation charge around $2k

so i hv LTE to backup for my own use
