HD78xx HD79xx will just sell at current price until out of stock
They willnot price drop as AMD announed

講真，係代理立場，一張卡賺雞碎咁多，AMD一減價，佢地跟住減會即刻蝕(存貨問題)。
而入新貨，好明顯佢地唔會入舊名貨，貪賣唔出咩。

WHICH VER?
OC VER?

i find some 7870 ghz edition oc
has core speed 1100mHz
which is higher than 270x (925) a lot
but with same price and two more games(never settle)

270x do not have much improvement vs 78xx
(only feature : eg 3mon can finally use without mini dp)

I originally wanted to get 7970, but this looks a much better deal (and I may not have time to play much games at all LOL)

No MiniDP => DP+HDMI + 2x DVI Dual Link is more useful

Obviously I am speaking price-wise.......
if I know they are the same thing then why should I pay more to get sth seemingly new

perhaps I can even flash it with a R9 270X firmware later........to make it look better

Shit, just found out that the card is 280mm long...........and the max allowed VGA card length of my chassis is 285mm..........should I risk?

Too long, may block SATA connection, mail-in rebate missed, or it is a real steal at $1400 (185 CAD incl. tax....)

ccw your best chance is HD7850 if you want to fit in and play some game
HD7850 IMHO is a very good C/P card , I just hate the AMD Driver keep givning me a fuss

Thanks, I just want to get a card with not bad C/P, and for sure 7850 and 7870 (this one) are great options.
Maybe I can hold on and see if there will be anything special.
