Shader Model (Pixel Shader + Vertex Shader) 3.0相比起2.0有以下改進:
1. Pixel Shader Length由96加到65535+
2. Vertex Shader Length由96加到65535+
2. 加入Dynamic Branching
3. 要求有32-bit rendering
4. 要求有Instancing Support, 可以用同一條command畫多過一點Vertex
基本上SM 3.0比2.0多出既主要係功能方面,
畫質唔係影響好大.
至於點解話SM 3.0係6600以下既hardware冇咩用時,
我搵關於SM 3.0 support果陣時, Farcry根本搵唔到
好多關於6200既benchmark, 好可能速度根本唔夠,
令我想起FX5200要用SM 1 Path行game.
所以我會conclude為6200有冇SM 3.0都冇用.
