sound like I can go ahead and get the 6700k.
Using 6600 now but GTA performance (too CPU intensive) is horrible, 6700k is basically 20-30 fps faster (70-80)I am using 144 Hz monitor)

Don't know what Intel is actually doing these days,
they simply sell 7700k with slight overlocking but significant heat-up, after a year as a "new" CPU.

Intel根本唔想做大粒die, 反正zen有料的話出6C desktop然後cut GPU EU都未遲
肯發癲早就玩6C+L4+offical DDR4 2666+ support啦

Just upgraded from i5-6600 to i7-6700k.......the difference is huge,
GTA V goes from 4x fps to 60+, Skylake Hyperthreading is amazing for CPU intensive games.
Look at the difference in frametime and you will know what I said.

That's why when I upgrade from FX-8300 , I skip Core i5 and look directly at Core i7 (At least)
