TPV Technology Limited is a Taiwan-based company. The group designs and produces a full range of CRT and TFT LCD monitors as well as LCD TVs for distribution globally.[1]
TPV Technology Limited is an investment holding company. The company manufactures CRT monitors, LCD monitors & LCD TVs mainly in China and sells to Europe, North and South America, China, India and other Asian countries.[2] TPV has a total production capacity of 6.1 million monitors in a month. TPV has 5 factories in China, 2 factories in Europe and 2 in Brazil.[3]
In September 2005, TPV Technology acquired part of Philips Monitor and entry level flat screen TV business making it the leading display manufacturer in the world.[4] On March 31, 2008, the Company acquired a business operation from Chi Mei Optoelectronics Corporation.[2]
