I would suggest if they were still using 34nm NAND flash,
while at the moment they have switched to 25nm and I can see many reports of drop in performance and reduction of lifetime of the same model,
I am not sure for the current situation.

I remember that OCZ has a solution in dealing with the problem, by replacing the 64Gb based SSD
by 32Gb based,

maybe the current 25nm drives are faster then we can see in the benchmarks, you will need to search to confirm that.
