I think 4GB is enough unless you are loading some memory-hungry programs.....

我部機跟機 Win 7 64bit
但係安 8GB RAM 落去 , BIOS 認到, 但係 Win 7 64bit 回報最多用到 4GB
Lenovo CS 話部機 Limit 喎

from task manager, i have not used 3gb+ of memory

but there is a striking difference in vm performance between 4gb and 6gb/8gb

Ya, that's what I observed from Task manager, but I am not sure if it is as Aware mentioned.
I have been looking forward to setting VM with 8GB RAM, SNB with SSD but still do not have the chance..
