原帖由 Henry 於 2017-4-18 09:06 發表 唔通10nm忽然得左臨時變陣? 然後原本中間係Coffeelake突然Cannonlake出街之類。
Intel says the first 10-nm chip to ship will be one of its own processors, with chips for others to follow, but perhaps not until 2018. This article appears in the January 2017 print issue as “Moore’s Law’s Next Step: 10 Nanometers.”
Whatever the metrics, Intel said it will start making 10nm Cannonlake chips in the second half of this year, three years after it launched its 14nm process. It expects to continue a three-year cadence, stretching 10nm with two annual upgrades to be called 10+ and 10++.
原帖由 Henry 於 2017-4-18 20:44 發表 10+ and 10++ 我覺得應該得,不過其他廠會唔會落到7nm就……
Rumors are that Samsung’s 10-nm yields are low and TSMC’s 10-nm node beats it in density, Jones said. However, Intel’s 10-nm node is the densest of the group with yields rising significantly and the process being transferred to fabs in Israel. TSMC will ramp its 7-nm node this year using similar pitches as in Intel’s 10-nm process. GlobalFoundries’ 7-nm node will come on in 2018 with tighter pitches and a 30% reduction in die cost, he said.
