Sorry, but do you mean burning the files to an iso and save in the harddisk?
If so, Alcohol would help.

I don't get your point in fact....
Do you mean you want to 'burn' some files to a single .iso file so that you can mount it on a virtual drive and read it like a DVD?

Maybe you just ghost it and store the system image on an external harddisk
