Ya,
what SSD offers is only the access time difference, sequential R/W is not meaningful at all.
I am using my OCZ V2 and will use it until it is not available.

If you don't really need a SSD now,
sure I will suggest you wait,
G3 and OCZ V3 are coming........probably there will be a price drop for old models.
