Update: on further study, they are supported on consumer board where stated.
So you may find one support board in the market, but I don't know.

say ASUS P8B WS, do you know where I can find it?
Or instead an intel board is preferred?
I am sorry but I have never touched server class stuff before.

"Paul, I did use the Xeon E3-1220, E3-1230 and E3-1280 in a H67 motherboard (the ASUS P8H67-M EVO) without issue. I never got to try a P67 based board though. My sense is that there is a very good chance it will work given what I have seen but I cannot say for sure." Patrick
