[硬件] Quality of Ram

Quality of Ram

The last question on my computer is ........ the RAM.

I decided to use ECC memory, though may not be useful at the moment, but I intend to keep it to deal with some possible I/O intensive tasks in the future, yet it can be quite distant.

Anyway, I am struggling with the below:
-3 choices on buying the memory,

1. Transcend DDR3 1333 4GB ECC unbuffered x2  ~$1000
2. Kingston DDR3 1333 4GB ECC unbuffered w/ thermal sensor x2  ~$1500
3. Crucial DDR3 1333 4GB ECC unbuffered x2  ~$1200(ordering from Linke)

Which one would you suggest in view of reliability?
Thank you.

ECC應該間間都差唔多掛...
Hopefully true.
I have left contact and proposed mainboard to two shop today, one in SSP and one in WanChai, I will see if they can give me a better offer or I will probably pick Transcend.

Can anyone tell the difference between
Elpida C and Hynix B?
Thank you.

I think Hynix has better compatibility and better elasticity than Elpida.
Thank you for your information,
I will reply you as soon as I have made the decision.

Thank you Henry,
but I think I will accept the offer from a shop in WanChai Computer mall for Kingston DDR3 1333 4GB ECC buffered at $490, that way I can have local warranty(though RAM seldom fails).

One stick for 490, then get it in HK la.
Yes, it looks a better deal and also the shop has guaranteed the compatibility with my board.
