Is MSI a brand that must be avoided?

As I found that the voltage regulation on MSI is more advanced,
wanted to consider their main boards.

If I am going for stability, which brand would you suggest(except any boards from Gigabyte)?

Sadly it is hard to tell the stability merely by looking at the structure of a main board.....
almost all of them are claiming themselves building with superior components, but god knows.

Do you think there would be at least some guarantee for a higher end main board?
Or all about luck?

That is indeed a concern,
I considered some higher tier boards but I will never use 4 PCI-E x16 slots.......it looks wasted.
All I want is just a robust board that allows the system to live longer.
