1. This 2GB version only has 1.03GB that can use to install apps (external SDCard slot cannot use to install apps by original settings, hope next firmware from Lenovo can improve it)
2GB = 338MB ROM + 1.03GB emulation internal SDCard + 6xx MB system reserved area (cannot control by user)
If you want to install big apps or games, I'd suggest you to go for 16GB version (RMB1399) or other tablet.

2. To install Google Market, you can't install directly (maybe Lenovo prohibited, or need root privilege). However, today I found a method (from other website) to allow you to install Market under custom-made ClockModRecovery.

a. Download ClockModRecovery and root package from website http://www.droid-style.com/. The direct link is http://www.droid-style.com/wp-co ... c/LePad_A1_root.rar (Decompress password is "http://www.droid-style.com").
b. Decompress 2 files "lepad-a1-rooter_signed.zip" and "update.zip" and save into root folder of MicroSD card.
c. Download latest Google Apps package from http://goo-inside.me/gapps/gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip (29 Aug 2011 version).
d. Save this file into MicroSD card.
e. Shutdown the Pad.
f. Turn on the Pad by holding "Power" + "Vol -", wait until "Lenovo" logo disappear, hold button for around 10 seconds, and then release buttons.
g. Press "Power" + "Vol -" again and hold until you see a green Google App installation logo, then you release buttons, then you can see ClockModRecovery recovery mode.
h. Press and hold "Vol -" until you see "Back Menu Button Enabled" at the bottom.
i. Press "Vol -" to "install zip from sdcard", and then press "Power" button to confirm.
j. Press "Vol -" to "choose zip from sdcard", and then press "Power" button to confirm.
k. Find and choose file "gapps-gb-20110828-signed.zip", and then press "Power" button to confirm.
j. Find and choose "yes", and then press "Power" button to confirm.
k. Find and choose "Go Back", and then press "Power" button to confirm.
l. Find and choose "reboot system now", and then press "Power" button to confirm.

3. In default, you can only choose system language to Simp. Chinese or English. To select other language, e.g. Trad. Chinese, you can install Morelocale2 (download attachment in here or install from Google Market >> https://market.android.com/details?id=jp.co.c_lis.ccl.morelocale) to choose other language that you want.

Updates on 6/10/2011
Quadrant standard score: 1082, the performance is ok, given to the price. Galaxy Tab 7" score is 1013 (by Wilson)

Can install but can't start. I think some other apk need to install, but those apk install failed. Maybe need root or by special method

Some comment updates...

For 2GB version, only can use 1.03GB for install apps. For people who like to install much apps & games, should go for 16GB version. The 1.03GB treat as internal SDCard (so except internal ROM, here is the only place that you can install apps). The external SDCard slot only can use to store files, but not apps.

some China site mentioned that it can manually swap internal SDCard and external SDCard location to break this limitation, but I didn't test. For me, 1GB is enough for apps (only to view PDF / powerpoint, eBook, watch video, web surfing etc...)
