I don't think it's worth, unless u need to run many applications concurrently, can use fully 6 cores

X4 840 = Quad core 3.2GHz
X6 1045T = 6 core 2.7GHz, turbo core 3.2GHz + 6MB L3 cache

actually if HK retail market has A8-3800 (65W), it'd be better choice

yup, and will overlap market for 8120/8150.

anyway, most modern quad-core (or more) CPU performance is enough for daily use, except for benchmark or specific CPU-intensive tasks, e.g. rendering, encoding etc...

for game... better have good graphic card
for responsive... SSD and RAM can help

4th choice is , unless need to use slim ITX case which can't put case fan
$300 for display card... i'd rather use build-in HD2000
