Hardware: Asrock H61M/U3S3 HDMI output > Sony LCDTV
OS: Vista

Have video output, but no audio output. I've changed audio settings from Realtek on-board to HDMI on-board. Can see volume bar shows there is sound output, but can't hear any voice (all voice output adjusted to highest)



I think I installed all drivers. Any hints or advices?

but i think i enabled on-board sound + HDMI sound. coz i only used BT KB, so i couldn't get into BIOS to check again.

yup, set as default to HDMI output.
i tried Realtek speaker output, it's ok (using headphone), but if i changed to HDMI, no sound in TV, but volume bar showed it has sound

after i searched internet, i think maybe i installed on-board VGA driver which is not compatible to new BIOS. i.e. older VGA driver + new BIOS

install new driver again tonight and see...

for HDMI, nearly all TV has One hdmi 1.2 port and
other hdmi port is 1.3

if you just happen plug into the hdmi 1.2 port (mostly will have a 3.5mm audio female port
then you will not get any soun ...

thx all brothers, problem solved
the reason is as i said before, using incompatible intel display driver.
new H61 bios MUST use new intel driver. otherwise, no correct hdmi audio output

p.s. new bios is for supporting ivy bridge
