One more thing I don;t get...it seems that these IP (even with ports) are very similar between each other
e.g. your example 192.168.0.3

I am sure a lot of people are using that (coz its between 1-255 right?)

So if you type in 192.168.0.3:21

Wouldn't there be a million people using this as their ftp IP/port?

呢個internal IP黎,
簡單D講就係,要係physically within 你個lan (network)先可以用ftp://192.168.0.3:21 入個NAS
街外人唔得的,所以要係router做port-forward
當人地打你網址e.g. ftp://cainester.com:21,
咁router就會識得人地入你port 21就forward去你部NAS度

----街外客,入ftp with port 21---->router----forward,port 21---->NAS (port 21)

我估有兩個情況，router唔support同一network打external ip，我隻水牛都唔得，所以用電話browser試(3g)

另一個情況，我用synology都唔得我係用no-ip

最後得左
要係router 手動做番 port forwarding

而家 係街外用手機用到 DS Download, DS File 同 web based DSM

對於我呢d一般user，synology既nas介面真係user friendly，d function仲好夠用

而家用呢3樣野相信好夠

其實如果想2部 NAS之間過野, 點樣係最efficient?
