It's normal, they are nothing besides selling and warranty.......
Engineering is in somewhere else.

More accurately, the guys who design this machine are responsible for this bug and they are in Japan(not sure). Engineers in Hong Kong are only fixing the devices for customers, for bugs they have to report back to somewhere like a headquarter.
