yesterday before I left, I did a simple test of my lan performance after I recompiled the lan driver

I got around 10xMB/s avg. transferring a 11GB movie file from a hitachi 2TB to my 6401 AALS

my test config was

aals -> buffalo wzr 3000 hp -> dlink 1008D -> hitachi 2tb

多數係HDD問題多過乜
最好係用ram drive試

其實gigalan 邊個速度至系正常 (Jumbo frame set 9000)？

不過
1. 無firewall
2. hdd / ssd / ram-disk速度夠快
3. 條線無乜degradation
