no la. as intel keep the price tag of low end CPU unchanged, the price tag of A II series will not change too large. the old P II x4 series will fade out and P II T series will replace. once the yield of P II T series reach a certain level, AMD will cut the old P II line.

Already state at other thread. Remember that the 28nm CPU will come out next year.

AMD may fade out the production line of 925-965 series and use the T series to replace. the road map claims that 925-965 will on sales until Q4 2010. I guess the last 925-965 production batch will be at last Q2 or early Q3 2010. Than it will be change to P II T series . you may have a 555T instead.

Most of the CPUs (quad-core Fusion / Bulldozer) will be 32nm SOI parts.
Only low-cost dual-core Fusion will be on 28nm bulk.

T series is too costy for ~$150 parts.

Four reasons.
1. 1090T and higher may tag at 300+, this is quite profitable product and can direct compete with Intel at this moment.
2. There is no 100 % yield, you mat see the 555T, 565T, 950T, 940T soon. 1055 is at $199. than 1035, 960T may cover P II 965, P II 955. It does not leave too much room for old P II.
3. As a consumer, I will not buy the older CPU if the price tag is duplicate.
4. The OC performance is very good for T series, you can find the result of 1055T at U forum.

1. Not related to Thuban-4-core products
2. Possible but not recommended by AMD as you can tweak Deneb also to get a lower-cost product
3. Deneb derivatives can still have clocking headroom if it is tweaked.
