Ya, that's why I bought the 4GB SLC and put it on my router before I will buy a 16GB for daily use.
Just now I have done a torture test on the 4GB flash drive with 10 Blank Erase and 10 Random Data Write using Roadkil's Disk Wipe.

Not considering long term storage, if it fails once for an important data transfer, it would be troublesome enough...there are some scenarios that you can only get the data using USB once, say from the presenters for their powerpoint file after a meeting.

for me, i just want a fast flash drive as my old flash drives are slow and small (total 2.125GB)
