Now I do think that SSD is necessary for the main computer, harddisk is an old stuff.

as a new SSD user, I have a few question about the tweaking.
I am now using a ramdisk of 1GB to store the temp files of windows and browser.
Everytime I switch of my computer, it will write 1 GB of ram disk file to the image in the SSD, is this harmful to the system?

會延長ssd壽命 hopefully this is true.
I will type some steps for building a ram disk, please refer to this post later.

I understand but the point is, I need the browsing cache and particularly for Chrome, the whole user profile which is also over there to be kept.

Btw, I now untick the box for saving the content on each switch off,
instead, keep reading the old profile from the ramdisk image.
I find that the image is not needed to be updated everytime, I am using Chrome has netwrok sync, the bookmarks are kept at Google's cloud computing system, the temp files of the OS are neither kept(I want to see if there is a different for not keeping).

Now switching off the computer takes no more than 10s
