That was a nightmare, I was helping a relative to install a Kaspersky(2010? forgot) on his NEW netbook but it ends up freezing for >5 mins and I have to reboot it. Can't imagine how "fast" it would be after some days. Atom

i use "small umbrella" in my netbook

Avira? No doubt the best choice for low power units.
Or you may also try MSE, yet another usable AV available for free(suppose you don't count it into your OS cost).
