For Vista once you get a Dual Core and 2GB+ RAM and fast HDD ( I use RAID 0 7200rpm HDD) , its not bad and quite stable

Win 7 = on par with XP respond time

Win 7 SP1 = ok

Win 8 = it boot fast, but block you install other OS (Win 7 / Linux / XP , etc)
unless you disable "Secure Boot" feature (disable will warn you the system is not secure)
damn TCPA , TPM crap link w/BIOS (or Hardware TPM onboard)

thats why most user SHOULD NOT use Win 8 this POS

For Vista, I installed it , even I dont like UAC at first, but I keep the
installation and ATI driver work much better on Vista, even some game run smoother
Its a improvement and I keep the installation until Win 7 is out

For Win 8, installed in VMWare /Virtual PC try out for 10min, and I delete the image

個人其實有不少人肯轉
反而係商業上唔會考慮..

觸屏既開發早已做緊iOS, 而metro UI衰過iOS, 即係迫D公司繼續Win 7配iOS

Wins要至少Sp1後先考慮使用係常識啦

Win 8開始冇左windows, 得D盒盒, Windows正式失傳, N咁多SP都唔使考慮

Not really, I asked the retail store that sell software,
they dont see user ask for return software (Win 8) refund that much before Win8 is out


And many user go to shop buy Win 7 to install over the Win8 w/ their new PC

但係恐怕到時... 連mouse也有代替品就加番Win XP/7 desktop都未必咁吸引
過多幾年, 恐怕user巳深深記住左Android / iPad / Mac机的 UI
忘記左XP/7的UI

Win + X 只係向OSX致敬，但唔好忘記OSX粒command key擺位近D
