AMD claims its core as modular. They could mod their "modular" architecture in order to fit Sony's requirement maybe.

Anyway, if there is no customized core, I would bet it is Steamroller-driven. As you can see, the first iteration of GCN APU is using Steamroller core. But I won't think that console designs will be the same as AMD's APU. The software stack is built from zero and they should have planned some unique features which require some special hardware blocks. Let's say... tile-based rendering with a big piece of eDRAM for less main memory bandwidth expense. It is commonly seen on console, isn't it?

GPU: at least Tahiti / Kepler / Sea Island derivatives
CPU: at least 4GHz+ Bulldozer / 3GHz+ SB / IVB or equivalent class with 6+ threads

你用呢個角度睇既話,都可以話未必會有既。Console 要 High-performance Graphics 嘛。如果 console platforms 無打算整件 heterogeneous computing SW stack 既話,咁繼續 dGPU + CPU,幾年後 shrink 做 SoC 係個合理既 ...

除非console lifespan縮短, 否則咁係合理估算
