[平版電腦] Hondo APU is fine.

Hondo APU is fine.

http://www.anandtech.com/show/6529/busting-the-x86-power-myth-indepth-clover-trail-power-analysis

If you believe the power figures given by AMD, compare them with the numbers of Clover Trail and Tegra 3 in this Anandtech analysis, and you will find Hondo being kind of competitive. Not *very* outstanding, but at least not bad and is comparable. And you should also notice that this Hondo thing is built on 40nm...

For example, system idle power (screen is on, not standby) is lying in the same range as Tegra 3 and Clover Trail. It seems the Hondo 4.5W TDP is for the entire system, and Clover Trail's 1.7-watt TDP figure is for the chip itself only.

Looking forward to a dual-core 1080p Temash-inside 11" tablet.
