Damn cheap now, I bought it at $119 (still a good deal though)










Then? The printer draws too much power, or the circuit in my old house is really too weak, the ceiling light keeps flicking all the time....I didn't have a chance to test it till now......
I moved it downstairs and put it at the living room, the electricity is better there and this printer has network support.......hope it will work later, need a lan cord first

I bought the similar Brother MFC one month ago
$1280 HKD (Print/Copy/Scan/Fax)

The different is my one is White and don't have WiFi Print function ( which I don't really care )

If I only need printer , HP have one selling $6xx but
since my job have to deal with so many HP printer repair , I won't buy any "Low-end model"

Eventually, with the host's consent I continue to use the printer on the upper floor, neglecting the flickering of light or anything else,
the host just said it's fine (I am not sure if I am frying others' computers soon), hardware is done then.

And the software issues come, this stuff doesn't support WinSer2012, damn. I have to put on the W7 as virtual machine using Hyper-V, that's fine.
Omg, after all is done I found that Hyper-V doesn't support USB pass through yet, ridiculous MS, close soon.
Installed VMware Workstation and everything works like a charm.

Printing and scanning quality are great, but the default scanning dpi of copying maybe too low, copied items are of very low contrast.
Auto duplex is quite fast, though a bit slower comparing to Fuji Xerox.

What drives me crazy is the paper, there is no Double A here only junk, and are very expensive, like $60 HKD 500 pages...

But do you know of any other brands with similar or better quality as Double A does?
I do want opaque and smoother paper.....the one I spent $7 was garbage, very very thin

20lb is approx. 75GSM
get 22lb(~80GSM) but price is higher

Thanks, I just happened to see Fuji Xerox copy paper being offered at $2.99 500pages in a store, can't help getting 2 immediately
Probably I don't need to bother with the paper for a while.
