普通級MLC都唔夠打
Maybe some of them, but in fact TLC always suffers from some problems just because they are TLC.
At a similar price, I won't consider 850 EVO, where MX200 is available.

MX200 250GB / 500GB: HK$720 / HK$1390
850 EVO 250GB / 500GB: HK$640 / HK$1135

The price difference is not small.
You are right, but personally I found SSD to be another long lasting components (something you keep migrating to new computer);
it is OK to spend just 10% more on a MLC based SSD for a better guarantee, if you planned to use it for 5 years.

850 EVO is perfectly fine and I was considering buying it yesterday (where I then picked MX200 again),
I didn't find it convincing to not spend the extra 10% to get MLC at the moment.

Actually to be more accurate:
https://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-2- ... mp;keywords=850+evo
https://www.amazon.ca/Crucial-MX ... &keywords=mx200

http://www.amazon.com/Crucial-MX ... &keywords=mx200

It is just HKs seller marking it up.

Due to wearing, I would not expect SSD to last for 5 years.

I bought a Vertex 2 for my wife in 2012 and it wad dead last year.
It depends,
I have a Vertex 2 64GB which I bought in 2010, used it on Laptop, then as a cache drive on workstation, then as the main drive on another computer,
it is still working perfectly well today.
Another Intel 160GB, I bought it in 2011, 24/7 for a year, then I used it as a system drive on another PC, followed by using it as a storage drive on my current PC which I BT onto it,
still alive.

My experience with SSD so far is much better than with harddisks, which many have failed after 3 years.
